Who Do You See?
Take a moment to look very deeply into the center of your life. Only you and God can look into this place. Look closely in complete silence.
Who or what do you see living at the center of you? Do you see yourself all alone? Do you see a darkness filled with fears and anxiety? Do you see abundance or lack? Do you see Jesus?
Listen to these words written many years ago by Thomas Kelly.
“Deep within us all there is an amazing inner sanctuary of the soul, a holy place, a Divine Center, a speaking Voice, to which we may continuously return. Eternity is at our hearts, pressing upon our time-worn lives, warming us with intimations of an astounding destiny, calling us home unto Itself.
It is the light within which illuminates the face of God and casts new shadows and new glories upon our faces. It is a seed stirring to life if we do not choke it. It is the Shekinah of the soul, the Presence in the midst. Here is the slumbering Christ, stirring to be awakened, to become the soul we clothe in earthly form and action. And he is within us all.”
In this sacred space within we can come to Jesus over and over again.
In this place Jesus will quiet our hearts, give us rest and invite us to take his yoke upon us to serve and love others with Him.
In this place we will see and hear the truth and be oriented to pure truth.
In this place our fears will be expelled and love will begin to wash us clean on the inside and freely flow from us to others.
Will you take a moment right now and visit this inner sanctuary and see Jesus and His perfect love waiting for you?
Few find the joy of this inner sanctuary. Be one who knows the way and continuously returns.
