Find The Temple. Use The Sanctuary.

Find The Temple. Use The Sanctuary.

But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.

Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. I Cor. 6:17-20

Every believer can be at peace in the sanctuary of the temple they are. As the temple of the Holy Spirit  our inner life is a sanctuary where the Father, Son and Spirit peacefully abide connected to us to send us into the world as Jesus’ love.

Unfortunately most believers use all their time and energy trying to find a sanctuary of peace in the visible world of results and relationships. Meanwhile they seldom see themselves as the temple with its sanctuary of peace and love. So, the sanctuary within remains unused. Without the  use of the sanctuary love is not received and not released.

Without the  peace of God at the center of  our lives we are of little use to ourselves or to others. Only from the sanctuary within the temple we are in Christ can we stop abusing ourselves and others. Love never truly starts until we find and use the sanctuary within the temple we are. Love stops when we abandon God’s continuous love in the sanctuary.

Finding and living from a peaceful center in our inner life comes from losing our life in this world and then finding our life with Christ within. Since we are the temple of God it is in the sanctuary within where we are inspired by the Father and Spirit to see, hear, love and live Jesus in the world. In the sanctuary the Trinity waits to perfect our love as a manifestation of their love in Christ in the world.

Learn to let go of the world  and enter the sanctuary of peace where you are connected to Jesus. There is no temple or sanctuary for us in the world. Learn to enter the quiet peace of God’s presence within and experience living peace.

Carrying this peace found in the sanctuary out into the world each day may be slow in coming at first. Even so, return to the sanctuary throughout the day for peace and love. Even a small whisper of the words  “Jesus, you are welcome  here” or “I am only Yours” can fill you with peace and awaken love. Whatever comes from the sanctuary within release as the love of Jesus.
