Jesus says “Yes!”
There is tremendous power in the word “Yes!”. It is a risk to ask someone to do something for you or with you. They may say “No!” and asking them will give them their chance to do so.
We must ask or go through life never knowing what could have been. So, we take the risk and ask and wait for the answer.
“Do you want me near you?”
“Will you go with me?”
“Will you be my friend?”
“Will you share your life with me?”
“Will you forgive me?”
“Will you believe in what I can become?”
“Will you accept me as I am?”
“Will you love me and love with me?”
When we ask the moments between asking and hearing the answer seem to last for an eternity. When the answer comes the impact can last for an eternity.
Jesus is God’s answer to every question humanity needs to ask God. In Jesus God says “Yes!”
Have you asked God and heard the answer that last for eternity?
For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes. For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
II Corinthians 1:19-20
